Encouraged

It's 77 degrees outside! (This is crazy for London) There's something about the sun...it puts everyone in a good mood :) Thank you Lord for a sunny week...I definitely needed some Vitamin D in my life. No wonder the British people talk about the weather so much...one moment it's sunny, then cloudy, rainy, and even hailing!

Yesterday was a perfect night for a BBQ with friends...oh I just love those summer nights. Playing guitar, eating good food, and good conversation.

I've been so encouraged by the YWAMers from America and Canada...they have been helping at our church for over a month and it's so nice having foreigners around. One of the team leaders encouraged me with these Bible verses from Psalm 40:

I desire to do your will, my God;
    your law is within my heart.”

I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
    I do not seal my lips, Lord,
    as you know.  

I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
    I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
    from the great assembly.

 Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
    may your love and faithfulness always protect me. 

For troubles without number surround me;
    my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see.
They are more than the hairs of my head,
    and my heart fails within me.

I pray that my actions and words would proclaim Jesus!
